Position Functions:

  1. Clean the Town Hall periodically as needed.  Check to see that the Town Hall has been cleaned and that damage has not been done to the town hall after a booked event.  If it has not been cleaned notify the clerk so that a cleaning bill may be sent to the party that rented the town hall.  If damage has occurred contact the town board immediately.
  2. Clean the bathrooms in the town hall and keep them stocked with paper products.
  3. Order cleaning supplies and paper products as needed and have companies bill the town directly.

  6. Administer the rental of the Town hall based on the guidelines below.
  7. When a person calls about renting the hall they need to receive a contract.  There are two ways to do this.  A person can print it out from our website www.chip-howard-wi.org and then mail it to you with a check for $150.00.  The other method (for those who don’t have or do not want to use the internet) is for you to mail a contract to them.  Stamps and envelopes are provided for you.  If you run out let the clerk or treasurer know.
  8. The reservation is considered to be made at the time you receive the contract and check.  As soon as possible please put the date on the calendar at the town hall.
  9. When you receive the contract mail it with the check to the town treasurer.  Preaddressed envelopes and stamps are provided.
  10. If there is a cancellation record the date of cancellation and whether the hall was rented to someone else.  Let the town clerk know so that a refund check can be sent out if appropriate.
  11. Arrange for or let the party into the hall on the day of rental.
  12. Set up barrier rope so that parked cars do not block the fire department door.
  13. Other duties as assigned by the town board.
